We offer client-centered flat-legal fees for most legal services we handle.
Use our online cost estimator to get a basic idea of general attorney fees. This site isn’t a promise to handle your case - we won't take on any new legal matter unless and until our attorney talks with you and agrees to offer representation - but we post our standard fees as part of our transparent, up-front pricing philosophy.

Hey, we’re a law firm, you sort of expect a legal disclaimer! We’re happy to take calls, email and inquiries from our website but please understand that contacting us through this site does not automatically make us your attorney.
While we hope you find our site helpful, it is not a promise to represent and we do not become your attorney unless and until we talk AND both agree. See our complete Terms of Use for further details.
We strive to serve our clients well! We hope to provide legal assistance with compassion, courtesy and the highest professionalism.
We look for creative and cost-effective solutions meeting each client’s needs, even if it means our firm earns less.
We can't represent every person who contacts us but even for those we don’t represent we hope that you find our firm courteous, professional and helpful.
No retainer for most matters. (Some situations require an expense retainer to cover third party or government fees).
We try to keep legal fees well within the reach of most Marylanders. ProBono / Low Bono assistance may be offered in limited cases to clients referred from a government or non-profit agency or who meet income and other requirements.

Even clients with a routine contract of sale, a basic deed or a simple Will can rest assured that it will receive the personal attention of a skilled supervising attorney. Of course this same experienced oversight helps clients with more complex matters like preservation trusts, probate (estate) matters, corrective deeds or exempt real estate financing.

Our founding attorney Cedulie Laumann graduated from University of Maryland School in the top 10% of her graduating class in 2003 and was admitted the same year by the Court of Appeals (now Supreme Court of Maryland) to practice law in Maryland. She considers it an honor to have been asked by the Court’s Professionalism Committee to help mentor new admittees to the Maryland bar. Attorney Laumann enjoys breaking down complex legal matters into understandable terms and helping clients, new attorneys and students navigate the legal process. Read more About Us.
